Job Description: Blevins, Inc. offers a number of clerical and office coordinator positions at each of our branches. Office staff varies from branch to branch, but generally includes an office coordinator and clerical staff.
Job Qualifications: Both the coordinator and clerical staff should have a high school diploma or GED, and at least one year of related work experience and/or training. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Ablility to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively with customers and other employees. Must have excellent phone skills and a working knowledge of PC software such as Microsoft Office.
Essential Duties Include: The office coordinator generally analyzes and organizes office operations and procedures such as typing, preparation of time sheets, correspondence, filing, requisition of supplies and other clerical services. Evaluates office production, revises procedures or devises new forms to improve efficiency. Establishes uniform correspondence procedures and style practices. Formulates procedures for systematic retention, protection, retrieval, transfer and disposal of records. Coordinates activities of various clerical departments or employees. May assist branch manager with maintenance and completion of new employee paperwork and termination paperwork. May assist with collection calls on past due customer accounts. Oversees all invoicing, receiving, item adjustments, mailing, etc. Oversees the branch manager's petty cash fund.
Physical Demands: Ability to perform typical secretarial duties.
